I
had a $67 facial today that was wonderful. If I hadn't read all the
reviews I wouldn't have believed it possible in L.A.. I added on the
spa service, which made it $85, but they were running a special so it
was $75. The spa in general is modern and tastefully done with lots of
stone, tile and contemporary amenities. The receptionist was very
polite and kind. The steam room was very enjoyable. My facialist
Suzanne was wonderful. She had the perfect touch, played calming music,
quietly explained to me each thing that she was doing and asked me
multiple times if I was comfortable. I felt completely taken care of
and pampered. And to my surprise, she didn't push any products on me
either. It was a wonderful experience and absolutely worth the money.
I'm grateful that I've finally found a wonderful spa in L.A. that I
will definitely return to and tell my friends about. I only wish I'd
booked a massage too! |

think this was one of the best facials for the money out there. I think
my facialist took about 90 minutes and it was only about $100. It was
so relaxing and innovative! My skin also looks phenomenal. Koni seemed
very experienced and made suggestions for processes based on my skin
type. Highly recommend! |

Just
left Raya Spa 20 minutes ago and wanted to review before I got tied up.
I am an exec for Travel and Leisure Magazine and therefore travel for a
living. Visiting Spas and destination resorts is often part of a days
work (Its not a bad gig, I know). I loved Raya Spa, and will actually
mention it in an article. Clean, classy, professional, and affordable.
I tried just to enjoy the day, as it was a Valentine's day gift , and
not to analyze everything to exhaustion (though, impossible for me). I
thinks its the best value in town and has very impressive details
(luxury equipment, plasma TV's, lots of staff to assist, supplies
replenished immediately, inviting aura, soothing color palate). I would
recommend on site lunch (although there is a sushi bar just a shop
over, and Earth Cafe is down the street). They have a roof dack with a
relaxing vista, I would love to see them offer saervices of lunch there
(just an idea). I visited as a regulat client and recommended this spot
wholehearted. |

getting waxed once, I wanted to find somewhere that parking was easier
or at least closer to work. I found both with Raya. It was at Raya that
I discovered that indeed the waxer does make a difference in the pain
that is felt during the appointment. I have had two waxers here and
Sandra is the best. She has the magic touch -- less painful, quick and
efficient. She makes you feel like you are visiting a close friend,
granted that may be her secret, distracting you while she is waxing.
She heard my concerns the last time I was there about the quality that
was given by an other staff member. Not only do you get quality
service, but they are very reasonably priced. I feel like I am spoiled
each time I come here, and that is impressive given that I am being
waxed. I can't wait to try their facials. |

facial every month with Lili or Suzanne & my skin always glows. I
also love their skin care products souffles, collagen day cream,
vitasilk C, & replenishing body products are just some of my
favorites. If you ever need your custom bikini done make an appointment
with Bella or Lena...they are the best! Highly recommend to use their
sauna and steam facilities and have a great massage with Oksana or
Laura -they are the best massage therapists in town. Everyone there is
so friendly & helpful....front staff always greets you with a

| RAYA Microdermabrasion Exfoliation
(face and neck) approx.45 minutes Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic
procedure n which the stratum corneum (dead outermost surface of the
skin) is partially removed by light abrasion. Particles are removed off
through the handpiece through which the abrasive particles come.
Microdermabrasion is also used to remove sun-damaged skin and to lessen
minor scars and dark spots on the skin. The procedure is not very
painful and requires no anaesthetic. There is some evidence that
microdermabrasion stimulates collagen formation. Patients who have taken the medication Accutane (Isotretinion) in the previous twelve months should avoid microdermabrasion. |
